Wild Turkey 101 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Wild Turkey was born when distillery workers took unmarked bottles on a wild turkey hunt in 1940; the flavor was so distinctive it stuck as a name. Produced at the Lawrenceburg, Kentucky distillery founded in 1869 by the Ripy Brothers, Wild Turkey 101 is aged at least five years in deeply charred American white oak (the heaviest 'Alligator' char), distilled twice through a column still and doubler, and proofed to 101 (50.5% ABV) with Kentucky limestone-filtered water.
