Founded in 2004 by Christian Krogstad in Portland, Oregon, Westward ferments 100% locally sourced malted barley with craft ale yeast, then double pot-distills the beer in bespoke low-reflux stills designed to preserve the ale's character. Aged in new, heavily toasted and lightly charred American oak. Each Single Barrel Selection showcases one cask's unique personality.
