100% Chardonnay sourced from two high elevation Contradas, Guardiola and Montedolce.
4 ha. are planted in various volcanic soils ranging from deep powder to loose broken lava stones. Vines range from 850 to 1000 meters above sea level. No fertilization, dry farmed and treated with only clay, propolis, grapefruit seed extract and copper. Vinified in steel vats for 20 days at 23 degrees Celsius, aged 12 months in cement vats and large neutral oak barrels.
