While Michel Gahier is renowned for his 'sous voile' (oxidative) whites, Lou represents the opposite end of his range: bright, mineral, and direct. From Gahier's 6.5-hectare biodynamic domaine in Montigny-lès-Arsures (family since 1525). In the Jura, Chardonnay is locally called 'Melon d'Arbois'—same grape, same DNA, but the Jurassic limestone and continental climate produce a very different expression than Burgundy.
