Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Very Small Batch Straight Bourbon

Bourbon aged at sea. In 2008, founder Trey Zoeller partnered with OCEARCH's Chris Fischer to place bourbon barrels aboard the MV OCEARCH research vessel. What began as a five-barrel experiment became a signature process: barrels travel across five continents, crossing the equator four times. The constant ocean swells rock the barrels continuously, the salt air permeates the wood, and extreme temperature fluctuations accelerate extraction. The result is a darker, thicker bourbon with savory, almost briny undertones alongside the expected caramel and oak. Bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV).
