I Vigneri di (Salvo Foti) Etna Rosato Vinudilice 2024

I Vigneri di (Salvo Foti) Etna Rosato Vinudilice 2024

This isn't just a rosé—it's a volcanic fever dream. Sourced from the highest vineyard on Mount Etna at 1,300 meters, some of the highest in the world. These tiny, terraced parcels on the northern slopes of Mount Etna are surrounded by oak trees and wild herbs. It's a field blend of Grenache plus rare native grapes—Grecanico, Minella Nera, Alicante, and more—vinified with almost zero intervention.

The 2024 is salty, smoky, herbal, and bright—like someone dropped a Provence rosé in a Sicilian pine forest and let the volcano do the rest. It's pale but powerful, light but layered, and totally unlike anything else. Pairs with grilled shrimp, salty cheese, or deep wine nerd conversations. Serve cool—not ice-cold—and let it slowly blow your mind.

"The 2024 Rosato Vinudilice lifts from the glass with a dusty mix of dried rose and spiced melon. This is a mineral and lively effort with white strawberry tones and cooling acidity that adds persistence. Pleasantly chewy and long this leaves a resonance of raspberry sorbet and lingering hints of citrus. 91pts" — Eric Guido, Vinous
