Horse & Plow North Coast Draft Horse Red 2023

Draft Horse Red Hores & Plow's flagship red blend, the components of which change slightly from year to year. For the 2023 vintage, the blend is roughly 60% Carignane and 40% Grenache. The 100-year-old Carignane was grown at the Cox Vineyard in the hills west of Ukiah, and the Grenache comes from the historic Block House Vineyard in Yountville. The Carignane provides structure, color, and some spicy and savory notes whiile the Grenache gives the wine its very fruity character. Fresh and fruity with a medium body and juicy acidity.
