A triumphant return: Le Zouave, a cuvée originally made in 2015 but absent for six years, celebrates the rebirth of this beloved blend. Fumey-Chatelain assembled their finest old-vine Chardonnay parcels across their Jura estate for this 2021 vintage, a cooler year that favored slow ripening and pure expression. Fermented in tank and aged 12 months in neutral oak without sulfur additions, this wine sings with white peach, green apple, and hazelnut, anchored by a mineral spine and energetic acidity.
