From clay-limestone soils, this Chardonnay is minerally and delicate, with notes of pear, white flower, fresh-cut herbs (mint, maybe, and tarragon?) and Meyer lemon. There’s no oak influence here, allowing the purity of fruit and earth to shine through. It is lithe and silky, a departure from some of the better-known, heavyweight Jura Chardonnays that tend to show some oxidation and density.
