Created in tribute to the patriarch who left the domaine its vineyards, this 100% Chardonnay comes from Kimméridgian limestone soils. Spontaneous fermentation in barrel and tank builds a wine that's fresh and mineral, with white stone fruit and hazelnut notes, fine citrus acidity, and that distinctive chalk-and-flint signature of Burgundy's Auxerre hills. Great Chardonnay doesn't need fame to deliver.
