This debut vintage from the duo of Damien Courbet and David Croix—two enology school friends who reunited to make Jura wines—captures lightning in a bottle. Made from Savagnin in a non-oxidative ouillé style that defies Jura convention, from a south-southwest-facing parcel on clay and limestone scree soils. Power and complexity intertwine with stony texture and saline acidity, while floral and herbaceous notes meld with apple, walnut, and candied lemon into a tense, mineral whole.
