Clos la Coutale Cahors Malbec 2023

A supple, fruit-forward expression of Cahors from one of the appellation's most established producers. This sixth-generation family estate blends 80% Malbec with 20% Merlot grown on gravel, limestone, and clay soils near the Lot River. The nose shows fresh fruit with floral and mineral undertones; the palate delivers blackcurrant and raspberry with soft tannins and a mineral-driven finish. Aged in Bordeaux-style oak, approachable now but built for cellaring.
